The start of the film shows an exorcism which quickly gets out of control and claims the life of a young girl, names Hannah Grace. Moving forward to three months after we see a young woman working a night shift at the hospital morgue where she, receives a disfigured corpse and when alone and locked, in the basement of the morgue, the young woman, named Morgan Reed, experiences visions and weird goings on, leading her to believe that the body delivered earlier in the evening is possessed by an entity that is evil.
Day six, and the sixth film from the Netflix October Halloween Calendar, and I have to say I did enjoy this film, and although I watched through it all, and how it is a somewhat good horror, there were a few scenes which could have been taken out. The effects were not great but were acceptable. I did, however, feel this film related a lot to the film, The Autopsy of Jane Doe, as there were a lot of scenes which seemed to be very similar.
As I said, I did enjoy this film, and it did grip me to finish watching as it was eerie and creepy, but I think the plot, and certain scenes could have been massively improved to become a standalone film rather than a comparison to other paranormal type films.
I rate this film 3 stars
