Hubie Halloween, 2020 (Netflix)

A fun loving, and silly take on Halloween night with a guy names Hubie (Adam Sandler) who, every year, ensures Halloween remains safe and playful for all in his town of Salem.
I personally love this film, and will be a yearly tradition of mine, because it brings so many silly moments and is just a typical Adam Sandler film, if you like him you will love this film, even if you don’t like him that much there are still some silly moments in the film to enjoy.
This also stars the likes of Kenan Thompson (well known for being in a show from my childhood called Kenan and Kel, and also part of Saturday Night Live!), also likes of Julie Bowen, Noah Schnapp, Steve Buscemi, Maya Rudolph, Bradley Steven Bradley, Mikey Day, Tim Meadows and many others, including Sandler’s daughters and wife.
If you have yet to see this film, I highly recommend, if you love silly comedy this is definitely the film to laugh to.
**just note, my favourite scene from this film is the haunted house scene**
Its a five star rating from me, and that won’t change!
Scary Movie, 2000 (Netflix)

A silly, fun-taking turn on the original “Scream, 1996” movie. The story-line focuses around a group of dumb teenagers who are stalked by an incompetent serial killer, in this joke of a film.
It is very silly, and makes you laugh at just how silly it actually is. A joyful film, where I watched it and could not take the actual Scream film seriously.
Written by: Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, and Buddy Johnson.
Starring; Anna Faris, Marlon Wayans, Carmen Electra, Jon Abrahams.
This film is given a 4 star rating from me.
Scary Movie 2, 2001 (Netflix)

A group of Teenagers, including Cindy Campbell from the first Scary Movie, played by Anna Faris, and Brenda Meeks (Regina Hall) are invited to spend the night in a Haunted House, named “Hell House”. Their professor, Professor Oldman who is played by Tim Curry, convinces the teenagers and their friends it is part of a school project.
Things start turning bad for them all, and they all find they need to work together to find a way to capture this menace of a ghost.
A spoof of a number of original films, which is funny and laughable because of how ridiculously silly they are!
Written by: Marlon & Shawn Wayans, and Buddy Johnson.
Directed by: Keenan Ivory Wayans
Starring: Anna Faris, Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Antony Acker.
Scary Movie 3, 2003 (Netflix)

This third installment of the comedy style horrors, revolves around Crop Circles, and a mystery video tape that is circulating and then telling ones who watch it they will be dying in exactly 7 days, a spoof on The Ring, Signs, The Matrix Reloaded, and 8 Mile.
This installment of the Scary Movie franchise is the funniest one I have seen, and is available to stream now on Netflix.
Starring; Anna Faris, Charlie Sheen, Regina Hall, Pamela Anderson, Kevin Hart, Anthony Anderson.
Directed by: David Zucker
Written By: Shawn Wayans, Craig Mazin, Pat Proft.
Halloween, 1978 (Netflix)

After 15 years of being in a mental hospital for killing his sister, in 1963 on Halloween night, Michael Myers returns to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, to kill again!
A slasher film about a man who seems to become undefeated and despite many attempts to kill him, he comes back again and again.
A horror film with a lot of slashing, blood and gore, and if you are not one for a lot of that in a film this is not one to watch. Certainly a great franchise to watch.
Starring: Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasence, Tony Moran.
Directed by: John Carpenter
Written by: John Carpenter, Debra Hill.
Halloween 2, 1981 (Netflix)

Michael Myers is on the lose, and unable to be captured by police whilst he follows Laurie to try and kill her, but she is on her way to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital after being traumatised by Myers.
A second film in this Halloween film franchise, where we learn that no matter what happens to Michael Myers, he is unable to be killed due to a curse he has had since a child.
Directed by: Rick Rosenthal
Written by: John Carpenter, Debra Hill
Starring: Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasence, Charles Cyphers.
