Following on from the events of Avengers: End Game (2019), a tragedy brings the Eternals, (who are ancient aliens living on earth for thoudands of years), out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s ancient enemy; The Deviants.
I have had the opportunity to see this during a special screening, and as I do with all my reviews I remain impartial, but I am unable to with this film. I was not thrilled by the film, nor was I impressed by it.
Eternals was OK, but it was very much strained. The beginning was OK, and then when Richard Madden showed up on screen I paid attention, but that soon faded, I did NOT like how they kept bouncing from the time of Eternals to the present day, it was exhausting keep up!!

The Visuals were good, but the editing and the cgi was very poor, and the ending felt very rushed, and what is with bringing Harry Styles into Marvel?! I feel like the MCU are just bringing in any known and popular celebrity nowadays, and it feels very much forced with it all. This film did not impress me much, at all, and I have to admit I did fall asleep during the film too, and although that was part of being genuinely tired, I struggled to keep up with this film, and I am struggling to find positive things to say, as the only thing I enjoyed was seeing Richard Madden on screen – until his character turned nasty.
Although The Eternals does not deserve such bad ratings, as it is rated one of the worst MCU movies so far, I can understand why there are such bad reviews and that is down to the issues with the plot, the editing, and the pace of the film – as the ending felt very rushed with the poor use of CGI.
Again, as I always say in my reviews, do go and watch this film and create your own opinion as there are some mixed opinions, most bad, some good, but do go and see for yourself – as you may enjoy this film, and let me know what you thought in the comments below.
For now, I shall leave you with my first low rated movie review on here..
I rate this film 1.5 star rating
