A Quiet Place Part 2 is the anticipated film which follows on from the first film, with no gaps between, it follows directly on from the ending of A Quiet Place, instantly keeping the viewers indulged without losing track of the terrifying world the franchise is providing.
Following the events at the family’s home, the family comprising of Evelyn Abbott (Blunt), Regan Abbot (Simmonds), Marcus Abbott (Jupe) and the new born baby are now forced to face the outside world and venture into the unknown, where they soon realise that the monsters who hunt by sound are not the only monsters lurking within the unknown, and beyond the sand paths….

From watching the first film, I was very much excited for part 2 of this film, and since Covid struck and everything was placed on hold, when this film eventually started making film news and the release date for the film, I watched the first film again for rent on Amazon Prime Video, to catch myself up and refresh my mind. I kept bugging my managers at work about preview screening of this (as I work at a local cinema in my city), when they had the copy, however, there were issues connecting the film to the projection room, and the tickets to the preview showing, for both films, had sold out!.
I did find Cineworld, in the nearest city to me, had tickets available, for the double bill of the first and the second film, which I went to, and I certainly was not disappointed! It is certainly worth the wait!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the full 200 minutes of both the films, and honestly, there were some scenes I swear Amazon Prime Video cut out from the first film, as I remember not seeing a few scenes when I refreshed my brain, but I was not sure, until this was confirmed when watching it again at the cinema, yesterday.

Overall, I really did like the second film, and I highly HIGHLY recommend going to your local cinema and watching it, the flashbacks at the start of the film was great, too! I really enjoyed every second of it, and will definitely find time to watch it again, especially bits of the film when working!
What are you waiting for?! Head over to your local cinema, support them, sit back and enjoy this highly anticipated film – you will love it!
I rate this 5 stars!
