The Fresh Prince of Bel Air

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, is an american Sitcom from the 1990s, series extending from 1990 to 1996. Starring Will Smith, Alfonso Ribeiro, James Avery, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Reid, Janet Hubert and Ross Bagley.
This show is focused around a streetwise, poor, young man who is originally from Philadelphia, but is sent to live with his Aunt, Uncle and Cousins, who live in Bel-Air, LA, by his mum, and he soon adapts to the lifestyle of living in a mansion and having a butler to do most of the work Will would normally do himself if he still lived with his mum.
This is a feel-good comedy show, and the show also has had some scenes of a sensitive nature, where one episode is real relating to Will and his real-life struggles with his father.
I grew up watching this show, when I was eventually old enough to start watching it, and I remember this being on a UK Sky TV Channel called “Trouble” before it eventually made its way onto Comedy Central UK, and became much easier to watch through various TV Channels.
No matter how many times I watch this show, it is always a classic show to watch, much the same as a few other shows I grew up with, but I love this show and am a big fan of Will Smith, so it makes this show even better!
The Secret: Dare To Dream 2020; Netflix

A film from the self help book; The Secret, which has been produced by Andy Tennant, and the film being written by Bekah Brunstetter, Andy Tennant, and Rick Parks. The self help book, which is where this film is an adaptation from, has been written by Rhonda Byrne.
This film, if you have read the book or heard of the book and what its about, is based upon the book about the power of positive thinking and manifestation, including the timeless messages of hope, compassion, and gratitude, The Secret: Dare to Dream is an inspiring and heartwarming film that shows how positive thoughts can transform our lives on a daily basis!.
Through positive thinking and manifestation, this film and also the book, teaches us that our reality is created by the level of vibrations and level of thoughts we have, for example; if we think negatively and are always angry and bitter, our lives will not be great because the we receive what we give out through how we think and act. If we are positive most of the time, with a positive outlook, are happy and open minded, and kind, the book and this film teaches us that we will have a positive life and get what we want by our thoughts, and how our thoughts create our reality!
I really enjoyed this film, as I have read the book, and understand a lot more with manifesting, Law of Assumption, Law of Attraction, etc, and how my life is changing since learning about this all, about gratitude’s, affirming positive thoughts to our subconscious mind, creating a better and healthier mental outlook on life, on our lives, and the way we think/feel/see ourselves. For anyone who knows of this and haven’t seen the film, but read the book, I give the film a watch, it is good!
This film stars: Katie Holmes, Josh Lucas, Celia Weston, Jerry O’Connell, and a lot of other cast members.

Friends; Random episodes; Netflix UK & Comedy Central UK

Similar to Fresh Prince of Bel Air, this show was originally aired in the 1990s, (1994-2004), where I grew up watching the show, from 2000 (as I was too young to watch the show earlier than this). This show is my absolute favourite no matter how many times I see episodes, they still make me laugh, and anyone who knows me, knows how much I love this show, I have worked “friends fest” which is a festival, running for a week, focused around photo ops from the sets of the show; Monica’s Apartment, Chandler and Joeys apartment, and Ross’ apartment too, along with original glass tight show props used from the show, along with additional benefits throughout the visit. If you are a friends fan, you will know about this. However, this show is brilliant, I love it, and I am often finding myself watching the show when I struggle to find something new to watch.
This show follows the lives of six friends with their personal and professional lives between the ages of 20 to 30+, living in Manhattan, getting up to all sorts, which relate to a lot of the audience who watch the show, like myself.
This show stars: Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, with guest stars through the whole 10 series, who appear in random episodes.
Love this show, and if you haven’t watched it yet, then why not? HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They really ARE there FOR YOU in any circumstance.
Superstore; Season 6 (Final Season); Peacock TV

If you saw my previous post dedicated to this show, then thank-you, and I hope you took my recommendation to watch the show.
I have recently finished the final season, which is also, sadly, the final series. Where this series follows the lives of individuals who work in a large superstore and their daily problems they seem to bring to work, which makes for a funny sitcom, one which I have not seen like this in years.
It is such a shame its finished, and this final series feels real to the world today, with COVID-19 and mask wearing, this show really made sure they remained connected to their audience on many levels, including the stresses retail workers face with COVID-19, masks, safety etc.
If you haven’t seen this show, the first five seasons are available to stream on Netflix now, and the sixth series is available to stream on Peacock TV – currently available in the US, but I am sure it won’t be long before this final series lands on Netflix to binge!
I enjoyed this show so much, I have started watching it from series one again, on Netflix, as I enjoyed it, and I am enjoying it again it seems.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND A WATCH.
And this, is what I have watched in March 2021, I am sorry it is not a longer selection of TV/Films, I just haven’t been watching a lot of TV – not as much as I would, however, this small selection has helped me slowly bounce back, and also help improve myself mentally too, alongside things I have done outside of TV/Film, such as meditation, eating healthier, and improving my mentality too!.
I hope you enjoy this small selection, and take my suggestions to watch, if you haven’t already before now, for now enjoy them if you do, and I will be back very soon with some reviews & blog entries.
