When news breaks overnight about Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell), The Morning Show co-host, being involved in a sexual misconduct scandal, Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) isn’t all too happy about this when she finds out HR knew about this for a few weeks, and never said a word! Disgruntled that she now has to work with a new co-host, Bradley (Reece Witherspoon), she tries to use this situation as a way to move her power and have Bradley as her ally!
As this show was not on my radar until recently, and after my friend, Owen, told me it was very good, I decided to watch it, after purchasing a Fire TV stick (so I have apple+ on my TV), and I can see the hype with this show, and why so many people were raving about this!
The acting is great, the intensity is great, and it also touches on issues of the day without preaching! The casting is great, and having Jennifer Aniston starring along with Steve Carell, Reece Witherspoon, and Billy Crudup – the casting is perfect!!! I cannot wait for Season 2, which comes in September 2021!
Definitely give this a watch, it is absolutely brilliant, great TV, great casting, great filming, great job from Apple!!
